It was 1954, the Labour Day was celebrated. Since then, the history of dairy factory in Bánovce has been written. It respects and preserves the honest dairy craft to these days. Our dairy factory counts among the BEST producers in the Slovak market, it employs 300 people and several tens of farmers who take care of fresh and good milk every day. Up to now, we have built several standards in the dairy category.

We offer:

Yoghurts

We produce two types of yoghurts. Cream yoghurts and Poctivý yoghurts. Cream yoghurt is made of cream and yoghurt culture. It has smooth texture and taste. Poctivý yoghurt is produced by traditional method of maturing in cups and it is a little sourer.

Spreads

Our spreads with the same taste for years. We still produce them according to traditional recipes that we upgrade with new flavours, but the original texture remains unchanged.

Fresh milk products

Classic dairy products such as butter, curd and cream can be found in every fridge in Slovakia. We try to prepare them for you according to old recipes, so that they are exactly as they should be.

Cheese

We want the offer of dairy products to be as wide as possible. Therefore, we don’t forget about steamed cheese. You can eat it while entertaining with nice people, take it with you to work or on a trip, or cook something special with it. It is only your choice.

History of MILSY a.s.

1954 – establishment of the national enterprise Nitrianske mliekarne, May 1, 1954

1974 – changed name to MILEX – production of traditional dairy products

1992 – transformation to joint stock company MILSY a.s.

2001 – an Austrian family business entered the company

MILSY a.s. underwent extensive modernization – meeting of strict criteria to obtain licences and certificates related to accession to the EU

2004 – EORI number – beginning of export activities

2013 – complete takeover of MILSY a.s. by an Austrian family business

2014 – MILSY a.s. celebrated its 60th birthday

2015 – modernization of yoghurt production

2016 – automation of cheese production

2017 – 2019 – modernization project in progress

2021 – redesign of brand and product assortment
